Pilates Stick is a hot new workout straight out of Europe and America which uses a stick attached to the barre with a bungee like resistance cord. The instable nature of the workout works your legs and glutes but also means you must constantly and, very consciously, engage your core because of the balance that it requires. The workout will be varied up using a mix of both standing, barre inspired exercises and floor-based drills and will incorporate both the Stick as well as the accompanying loops.
